My Mission is to live authentically, with curiosity, integrity, and creativity.
Alison is a multi-media Canadian artist who has worked in glass, bronze, soapstone, painting, printmaking, fabric and clay. The majority of her work now focuses primarily on sculpture and painting. She studied art internationally in Italy, India, Japan, and completed her BA majoring in Fine Art at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, and the University of Guelph, in Guelph, Ontario. She has taught art and continues to study new developments in materials.
The themes she is most interested in are inspired by nature and the beauty of the natural world. Her style is based in realism with a slightly abstracted tone. Her sense of inquiry has informed her work, and it continues to grow and widen as it should. New work often combines painting and sculpture in one piece.
